
FORT HALL, Idaho (KIFI) — Interstate 86 near Fort Hall is clear today after an early morning semi-truck crash that temporarily stalled traffic.
The accident happened around 3:31 a.m. on Thursday, July 2, near mile marker 58. According to an Idaho State Police news release, a 45-year-old Aberdeen man was driving east in a 2020 Kenworth semi when he lost control of the vehicle. The truck went into the median, overturned, and came to a rest in the left westbound lane.
ISP says the driver was wearing his seatbelt and no injuries were reported.
The right lane was blocked for around 2 hours as crews worked to clear the scene. The incident remains under investigation by the Idaho State Police.
