IDAHO FALLS, Idaho (KIFI) — Local police officers will soon step into the national spotlight as the Idaho Falls Police Department joins the cast of the live television documentary series On Patrol: Live, beginning Friday, Oct. 9.
The series, hosted and executive produced by Dan Abrams, announced the visit to Eastern Idaho Monday on social media.
The show follows law enforcement on patrol in real time from a mix of police departments and sheriff’s offices across the country. Abrams and a panel of experts offer minute-by-minute analysis while cameras ride along with officers responding to everyday, real calls with no script.
“We are proud of the work our officers do in Idaho Falls,” said Bryce Johnson, Idaho Falls Chief of Police. “Appearing on On Patrol: Live gives our community the opportunity to ride along with us every weekend and to see what your officers are doing and experiencing right here in Idaho Falls. We’re excited for this, and excited to be part of sharing the real stories of policing across the country.”
The show airs live on Fridays and Saturdays from 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 a.m. ET (7:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. MT) on REELZ. For more information, click HERE.
