In George Orwell’s dystopian novel, 1984, the ruling Party systematically creates and destroys words to control thought. ‘Blackwhite’ is a part of the Newspeak language that encourages citizens to accept anything the Party says (such as black is white) or deny anything an opponent says (such as black is white when the facts are readily available). Wokeism in America uses concepts like Blackwhite and is very similar Mao Zedong’s strategy that he used to take over China with the Chinese Communist Party.
