Hunter Biden showed up uninvited to a House committee hearing on a resolution to hold him in contempt of Congress for defying a subpoena that required him to give his closed-door testimony. He insists that his testimony be public. Hunter was accompanied by two of his attorneys and appeared in the hearing room in Rayburn House Office Building shortly after the House Oversight Committee convened at 10 a.m. ET. His surprise appearance and his hasty departure when Marjory Taylor Green began to speak is being taken as a lack of respect for the process.
The Holt Arena was the first college football dome in the U.S. and the second ever football dome of its kind overall. Previously dubbed the “Mini Dome”, it was renamed in 1988 to honor Milton W. “Dubby” Holt, the visionary ISU athletic director who conceived the indoor arena in 1966. It was designed by architect Cedric M. Allen and completely funded by voluntary student donations. ISU students approved a $12 increase in semester fees to fund the stadium in early 1968 (Wikipedia). This week, the Idaho State Board of Education approved the name being changed to the “ICCU Dome”.
A Trump co-defendant claims that Fulton County DA, Fani Willis dated prosecuting attorney, Nathan Wade, before and after she hired him as special prosecutor on Trump’s Fulton County election case. Wade was paid $500 to dig up dirt on Trump, benefiting both Willis and Wade improperly and creating a significant conflict of interest.
