Bonneville County Library District is building a library in Ammon. The Idaho Falls Public Library was demanding close to $2 million in contract fees from Bonneville County, so the County Library Board decided to use the funds to go independent, parting ways with IFPL. The Bonneville County Library District is planning on servicing libraries in Ammon, Idaho Falls, Iona and Swan Valley. The Library in Ammon is slated to open on October 1st.
