
DRIGGS, Idaho (KIFI) — A dirt-bike rider is recovering after crashing in the Packsaddle Lake area earlier this week. Teton County Idaho Search and Rescue was called out Monday afternoon to assist the injured rider.
12 volunteers responded to the call. The rescue team located and stabilized the rider before transporting them out of the area to the trailhead.
Once at the trailhead, the rider was flown via Air Idaho to a local hospital. Teton County Fire and Rescue also assisted in the response operation.
“Thank you to our partner agencies, Teton County Fire & Rescue and Air Idaho for helping ensure a safe and coordinated response,” stated TCISAR in a post. “We wish the injured rider a full and speedy recovery.”
